Our cosmetic dentist, Uyen Thompson, DDS, is excited to announce a beautiful new lighting feature that has been added to the exterior of Thompson Center for Dentistry. This new feature was recently unveiled to add a fun new look to the local community when the sun goes down and business has concluded for the day. Interesting fact: The lights on our building were created by the same company who designs the lighting features for the Empire State Building!
In the evening, when pedestrians walk by or individuals drive by on Old Telegraph Road, the lighting effects can be seen along the exterior of the building. There are various colors that pulse on the walls and, during one segment of the light show, the colors move quickly around the structure as if “chasing” one another. Each evening, on the hour from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., a two-minute light show will take place for community members to enjoy.
We will be switching the lights on throughout the entire year and there will be a special light show based on each major holiday. For Memorial Day, a USA feature of red, white, and blue colors will be seen to honor the men and women who gave their lives serving in the U.S. military. To match the aesthetic the lights create on the outside of the building, we will also be adding fun decorations to the inside of our practice. For instance, on Halloween, our lights will illustrate both orange and purple fading colors. To complement the colored lights, we will also feature real and artificial pumpkins, witches, flags, and many blow-up figures to help bring a smile to our patients’ faces.
Please stop by our office to see the new feature and let us know how you like it! We look forward to hearing your thoughts and, of course, making you smile.
